What is your favorite hobby or thing to do with your personal time?
I love to spend time with my family. I really enjoy being a son, husband and father. Any chance I can spend time with them, I will. I love boating, and being on the water is my zen. Something about it relaxes me. I like coaching and being a part of my kids lives. This one is huge for me because this one is always changing as they grow. I try and take advantage of this as much as I can and give them as much attention as I can.
What is something about you that would surprise people that already know you?
When I was age 8 or so, I got to throw a football with Walter Payton. I also got to eat with the 85 Bears, which was a huge thing for me when growing up and living in Chicago.
If you could have dinner with somebody famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
This one is hard for me due to it would not just be with one person. For me, it would be with all my past generations of family that have made my family what they are today. I would love to listen to the stories; good or bad, learning about all of their experiences.
How do you define “exceptional”?
Exceptional to me is someone that is always going to do their best no matter what the stakes. They are going to set themselves apart from everyone else. They are not afraid to hold back. Always pushing on no matter the obstacles and always thinking outside of the box. Never becoming complacent.
