Community

With nearly 100 years of business in our rearview mirror, Consolidated Electrical Contractors understands we would not be where we are today without our communities supporting us. Because of this, we believe it is important to share in our success by giving back to the communities we call home. The following are just a few examples of the many ways in which we give back to our communities:

In 2016, Consolidated Electrical Contractors founded the B.O.P. Program with our partners, The Homeless Angels and the Greater Michigan Construction Academy in order to train homeless individuals basic construction skills. This training is provided at no charge to these individuals. Our end goal is to try and match students with employers that will hire them and allow them to improve their way of life. We are proud to have several of these individuals as part of our team here at Consolidated Electrical Contractors.

Consolidated Electrical Contractors was honored to be a part of a group that helped to create a new museum at the VFW Home for Children in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. With many veterans on our Consolidated Electrical Contractors team, it was an easy decision when we were approached to be a part of this wonderful project. Between donated labor and materials, Consolidated Electrical Contractors contributed more than $25,000 to this project overall.

For several years now, Consolidated Electrical Contractors has been honored to play a role in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – West Michigan Man and Woman of the Year Annual Gala. Our team has contributed thousands of dollars to this great cause through corporate event sponsorship as well as individual employee donations.

Consolidated Electrical Contractors has helped in providing both labor and materials for several Habitat for Humanity home builds. It is such a gratifying experience and we are honored to have the ability and resources to help those in need.

Consolidated Electrical Contractors tries to help as much as possible with other local charitable and community events. We help many of our team members by sponsoring kids sports teams and other scholastic functions. In addition, we donate time and money to many community events such as the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Dewitt Santa Run, among others.
