What is your favorite hobby or thing to do with your personal time?
Hunting, fishing, hanging out at Silver Lake, pretty much anything outside and being with my family. I enjoy watching my sons wrestle, my daughter play soccer, and being involved in their school activities.
What is something about you that would surprise people that already know you?
Prior to having kids I was into custom show cars which eventually turned into sand drags, where I enjoyed years of racing with my family. I enjoy working on my son’s truck with him and sharing my passion with him.
If you could have dinner with somebody famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
My wife. After many years together we can laugh with each other and always have something to talk about. However, if my wife was busy, I would settle on having dinner with Johnny Cash. I think he would have some great stories to tell and I love old country music.
How do you define “exceptional”?
Exceptional to me is going the extra mile, taking something to the next level, and giving results that are beyond expectation. I feel that to set yourself apart from someone else is to do more than that person would do. Never settle for mediocre; your work is a reflection of you. In our family, we define exceptional as “Be a 12” meaning anyone can be a 10, few can be an 11 however “Being a 12” is something extraordinary.
