What is your favorite hobby or thing to do with your personal time?

I enjoy going north to our cottage and spending time on the lake with my family.

What is something about you that would surprise people that already know you?

I am meticulous and precise with my carpentry skills. I am very much a perfectionist. I have worked in carpentry since the age of 17. I take a great deal of pride in the craftsmanship I create with my own hands. Electrical seemed like a good next career. I have been a foster parent for over 15 years. I love to ride ATV’s and enjoy the outdoors.

If you could have dinner with somebody famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?

I would want to have dinner with the neurosurgeons that saved my daughters life, not once, but twice. They have such amazing skills and knowledge, along with a steady hand. They also have kindness and humor that helps children to not be afraid. Without their amazing skills my daughter wouldn’t still be with us. For that, I will be forever grateful.

How do you define “exceptional”?

Exceptional is when you do more than is expected, not because you have to, but because you want to. Going the extra mile as it is the right thing to do simply because you care and have pride in what you stand behind. Taking the time to do things the right way, even if it takes a little longer. Here at Consolidated, we are a “family.” A “family” of exceptional people, all working together for the greater good of everyone.
